Datacultr is a data-driven debt collections & risk mitigation platform that collateralises a customer’s smartphone to drive loan repayment through behavioural engagement and build a credit history for "new-to-credit" customers. The company has a global footprint of microfinance institutions (MFIs), mobile operators (MNOs), and retail chains. Sturgeon led Datacultr’s $1m seed round in Q4 2021.
